Roast Pork with Bacon and Slovakian Twist
A unique French-inspired dish featuring roast pork with crispy bacon and a hint of Slovakian flavor.
Ingredients
- ●2 tbsp (apple cider vinegar) sour
- ●6 slices baconthick-cut
- ●2 lbs (boneless pork loin) roast
- ●1 tsp (caraway seeds) slovakian
- ●1 cup (brown sugar) chewy
- ●3 cloves garlicminced
- ●1 tsp black pepper
- ●1 tsp salt

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

In a small bowl, mix together sour, Slovakian, and garlic. Rub the mixture all over the roast.

Season the roast with salt and black pepper.

Heat the bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until crispy.

Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside. Leave the grease in the skillet.

Sear the roast in the skillet until browned on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Transfer the roast to a baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

While the roast is cooking, mix together chewy and sour in a small bowl.

Remove the roast from the oven and brush the chewy mixture all over the top.

Return the roast to the oven and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the top is caramelized.
