Smoky Lamb Stew
A hearty and flavorful stew made with tender lamb, smoky flavors, and a rich broth.
Ingredients
- β1 pound boneless lamb shoulder lambcut into 1-inch cubes
- β2 tablespoons smoked paprika smoky
- β4 cups lamb or beef broth broth
- β1 large onion, chopped onion
- β2 medium carrots, peeled and chopped carrot
- β3 cloves garlic, minced garlic
- β2 tablespoons tomato paste
- β1 teaspoon salt
- β1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add the lamb and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Remove the lamb from the pot and set aside.

Add the onion and carrots to the pot and cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.

Add the garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to the pot and cook for 1 minute.

Add the broth, tomato paste, and browned lamb to the pot.

Bring the stew to a boil, then cover and transfer to the oven.

Bake at 300Β°F for 2 1/2 hours, or until the lamb is tender.
