Smoky Beef Bouillabaisse
A bold twist on the classic French bouillabaisse, this smoky Indian-inspired version features tender beef and a rich, flavorful broth.
Ingredients
- β1 pound beef short ribs beef
- β1/4 cup liquid smoke smoky
- β1/4 cup fish stock french
- β2 tablespoons bouillabaisse paste bouillabaisse
- β1 teaspoon salt
- β1/2 teaspoon pepper
- β1 medium onion, diced onion
- β3 cloves garlic, minced garlic
- β1-inch piece ginger, grated ginger
- β1 can diced tomatoes tomato
Instructions

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add onion, garlic, and ginger; cook, stirring occasionally, until the onion is lightly browned.

Add beef; cook, browning on all sides.

Add fish stock, bouillabaisse paste, liquid smoke, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.

Bring to a boil, then cover and transfer to the oven.

Braise for 2 1/2 hours, or until the beef is tender.
