Malaysian Style Pork Satay
A classic Southeast Asian dish featuring marinated pork skewers grilled to perfection. Serve with peanut sauce and steamed rice for a delicious meal.
Ingredients
- β500g Pork shoulder
- β1/2 cup Coconut milk
- β2 tbsp Peanut butter
- β2 tbsp Brown sugar
- β2 inches Grated gingerabout 2 tbsp
- β1 tsp Smoked paprika
- β1 tsp Salt
- β1/2 tsp Black pepper
- β20-25 Wooden skewers

Cut the pork shoulder into 1-inch cubes.

In a blender or food processor, combine coconut milk, peanut butter, brown sugar, ginger, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth.

Add the pork cubes to the marinade and mix until they are well coated.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Thread 5-6 pieces of marinated pork onto each skewer.
