Smoky Chana Masala Casserole
A fusion of Indian flavors with a smoky twist, served in a hearty casserole. Fermented notes add depth to this comforting dish.
Ingredients
- ●1 block (14 oz) Tofudrained and cut into 1-inch cubes
- ●1 cup Fermented yogurtplain, full-fat
- ●2 tbsp French olive oilfor sautéing
- ●1 tsp Smoky paprikasmoked, sweet
- ●1 tsp Cumin powderground
- ●1 tsp Coriander powderground
- ●1 tsp Casserolesque spicesa mix of cinnamon, cardamom, and cayenne
- ●to taste Salt
- ●1/4 cup Fresh cilantrochopped, for garnish

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

3. Add the cumin, coriander, and casserolesque spices; sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

4. Add the tofu and sauté for 3-4 minutes, until lightly browned.

5. Add the fermented yogurt, smoky paprika, and salt; stir well to combine.

6. Transfer the mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish.
