Autumn Crisp Apple Crumble
A warm and comforting dessert featuring tender apples topped with a crunchy oat and butter crumble.
Ingredients
- β6 medium applesmix of Granny Smith and Gala
- β1/2 cup all-purpose flourgluten-free substitute: almond flour
- β1/2 cup brown sugar
- β1/2 cup cold unsalted butter
- β1 cup oats
- β1 tsp smokysmoked paprika
- β1 tsp crispcrushed pecans
- β1/2 cup crumblecrushed cookies (e.g. oatmeal raisin)

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine sliced apples, brown sugar, and smoky.

Transfer the apple mixture to a 9x9-inch baking dish.

In another bowl, mix together flour, oats, and crisp.

Add cold butter to the dry ingredients and use a pastry blender or fingers to work the butter into the mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Spread the crumb mixture evenly over the apple filling.
