Japanese Tofu Stir Fry
A quick and easy Japanese-inspired stir fry made with crispy tofu and mixed vegetables. This dish is perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- β1 block (200g) Tofufirm or soft
- β2 tablespoons Sour Japanese Stir Sauceor to taste
- β2 tablespoons Sesame Oilfor stir-frying
- β1 tablespoon Gingergrated
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β1 Bell Peppersliced
- β2 Carrotssliced
Instructions

Heat 2 tablespoons of sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the grated ginger and minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add the sliced bell pepper and carrots and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until tender.

Add the tofu and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown.

Pour in the sour Japanese stir sauce and stir to combine.

Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.

Serve hot and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped scallions, if desired.
