- β1 cup Basmati ricepreferably day-old rice
- β2 tbsp Funky pasteadjust to taste
- β2-inch piece Gingergrated
- β1/2 cup, shredded Dutch gouda cheeseoptional
- β1 cup Mixed veggiescarrots, peas, corn
- β1 tsp Biryani spice mixstore-bought or homemade
- β2 tbsp Oilvegetable or canola oil
- β2 cups Waterfor cooking the rice

Instructions

Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add ginger and cook for 1 minute.

Add biryani spice mix and cook for 1 minute.

Add mixed veggies and cook until tender.

Add funky paste and stir well.
