Steamed Bamboo and Bean Delight
A simple and nutritious dish made with steamed bamboo, beans, and a hint of nutty flavor.
Ingredients
- β1 pound bamboo shootsfresh or frozen
- β1 cup soya beanscooked
- β1 cup shattering ricecooked
- β2 tablespoons nutty oilsuch as sesame oil
- β2 tablespoons bean sauceoptional
- βas needed steamed water
- βto taste salt
- βto taste pepper
Instructions

Rinse the bamboo shoots and cut them into bite-sized pieces.

Heat the nutty oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.

Add the bamboo shoots and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until they start to soften.

Add the cooked soya beans, shattering rice, and bean sauce (if using) to the skillet.

Stir-fry everything together for 2-3 minutes, or until the ingredients are well combined.
