Tunisian Prosciutto Pilaf
A flavorful and aromatic one-pot dish that combines the crunch of prosciutto with the warmth of Tunisian spices. Perfect for a quick and easy dinner.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Savoury Pilaf Mixpreferably homemade or store-bought mix
- β6 slices Prosciuttothinly sliced
- β2 tbsp Olive oil
- β1 medium Onionchopped
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β1 tsp Cumin
- β1 tsp Paprika
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
- β1/4 cup Fresh parsleychopped

Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.

Add the Savoury Pilaf Mix and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add the cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.

Add 2 cups of water to the saucepan and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the pilaf is tender.

While the pilaf is cooking, cook the prosciutto slices in a pan over medium heat until crispy.

Flake the cooked prosciutto into small pieces and set aside.

Once the pilaf is cooked, fluff it with a fork and stir in the chopped parsley and crispy prosciutto.
