Thai Fish Stir Fry
Quick and flavorful Thai-style fish stir fry made with succulent fish and crunchy vegetables. Serve with steamed rice for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- β500g Fish FilletsFresh cod or snapper work well
- β2 tbsp Vegetable OilFor stir-frying
- β3 cloves GarlicMinced
- β2 cm GingerSliced
- β200g Bamboo ShootsCanned, sliced
- β1 bunch Thai BasilChopped
- β1 Red Chili PepperSliced
- β1 tbsp Soy SauceThai soy sauce or tamari
- β1 tbsp Oyster SauceOptional
- βto taste SavoryUse Thai-style savory or oyster sauce
- βto taste SaltFor seasoning
Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the minced garlic and sliced ginger and stir-fry for 1 minute.

Add the sliced red chili pepper and stir-fry for another minute.

Add the fish fillets and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, until they start to flake apart.

Add the bamboo shoots, Thai basil, and soy sauce. Stir-fry for another 2 minutes.

Add the savory and oyster sauce (if using). Stir-fry for a final 2 minutes.
