Spinach and Feta Pie
A traditional savory pie from the Middle Eastern cuisine, filled with spinach and feta cheese.
Ingredients
- ●1 package Phyllo dough
- ●1 bunch Spinach
- ●1 block Feta cheese
- ●3 cloves Garlic
- ●2 tablespoons Olive oil
- ●to taste Salt
- ●to taste Black pepper
- ●chopped Fresh parsley
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Thaw the phyllo dough according to package instructions.

In a pan, heat the olive oil and sauté the garlic until softened.

Add the chopped spinach and cook until wilted.

Crumble the feta cheese into the pan and stir to combine.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Place a sheet of phyllo dough in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Brush the phyllo dough with melted butter or olive oil.

Repeat the process of layering phyllo dough, brushing with butter or oil, until all the dough is used.

Spoon the spinach and feta mixture into the center of the phyllo dough.

Fold the phyllo dough over the filling to form a triangle or square shape.

Brush the top of the pie with melted butter or olive oil.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the phyllo dough is golden brown.
