Irish Lamb Stew
A hearty and comforting lamb stew, inspired by traditional Irish cuisine. This dish is perfect for a cold winter's night.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Lamb shoulderCut into 1-inch cubes
- β1 large OnionChopped
- β2 medium CarrotsChopped
- β2 large PotatoesChopped
- β3 cloves GarlicMinced
- β2 tablespoons All-purpose flourTo thicken the stew
Instructions

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

Brown the lamb cubes in batches, then set aside.

Reduce heat to medium and add the chopped onion, cooking until softened.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add the chopped carrots and potatoes, cooking for 5 minutes.

Add the browned lamb back into the pot, along with 2 cups of water.
