Classic Italian Beef Stew

Ingredients
- β1 pound beef stew meat beefCut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
- β2 tablespoons salt salty
- β2 tablespoons olive oil velvety
- β1 large onion, chopped russian
- β2 cloves garlic, minced stew
- β2 carrots, peeled and chopped stew
- β2 potatoes, peeled and chopped stew

Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add the beef and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes. Remove the beef from the pot and set aside.

Add the chopped onion to the pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the garlic, carrots, and potatoes to the pot and cook for 2 minutes.

Add the browned beef back to the pot, along with the salt, and enough beef broth to cover the ingredients.

Bring the stew to a boil, then cover the pot and transfer it to the preheated oven.
