Syrian Quesadilla
A twist on traditional quesadillas, this recipe combines the flavors of Syria with the comfort of melted cheese.
Ingredients
- β1 block, crumbled Syrian cheeseKashkaval or similar
- β2 QuesadillaTortillas
- β1/2 tsp SaltyTo taste, or optional
- β1/2 tsp SaltyTo taste, or optional
Instructions

Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Lay a quesadilla flat and sprinkle a quarter of the Syrian cheese over half of the tortilla.

Fold the tortilla in half to enclose the cheese.

Place the quesadilla in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the tortilla is crispy and the cheese is melted.

Flip the quesadilla and cook for an additional 2 minutes, until the other side is also crispy.

Repeat with the remaining quesadillas and cheese.

Cut the quesadillas into wedges and serve immediately.

Optional: Sprinkle a pinch of salty on top of each quesadilla before serving.
