Bratwurst Paella
A twist on traditional paella with German bratwurst sausage for a hearty and flavorful meal.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Bratwurst sausageGerman-style sausage
- β2 cups Salty chicken brothlow sodium broth
- β1 cup Soft Spanish riceuncooked rice
- β6 slices Portuguese chorizospicy sausage
- β6 slices Meat baconthick-cut bacon
- β2 tablespoons Paella pan oilolive oil
- β1 teaspoon Salt
- β1/2 teaspoon Pepper
- β1/4 teaspoon Paprika

Heat the olive oil in a large paella pan over medium-high heat.

Add the bacon and cook until crispy, then remove from the pan.

Add the bratwurst sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the chorizo and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Add the chicken broth, rice, salt, pepper, and paprika to the pan.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.
