Malaysian Turkey Mince Stir Fry
A flavorful and quick Malaysian-inspired stir fry made with turkey mince, perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- β250g Turkey minceFresh or frozen, thawed
- β2 tbsp Festive oilVegetable oil for stir-frying
- β2 tbsp Salty soy sauceAdjust to taste
- β1 tbsp Silky oyster sauceOptional, omit for a vegetarian version
- β1 tsp Malaysian stir-fry spicesPre-mixed spice blend or individual spices like cumin, coriander, and chili flakes
- βhandful Fresh cilantroFor garnish
- β1 medium OnionThinly sliced
- β1 medium Bell pepperThinly sliced
- β1-inch piece GingerGrated
- β2 cloves GarlicMinced

Heat 1 tablespoon of festive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced onion and bell pepper and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the grated ginger and minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add the turkey mince and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until it is no longer pink, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the Malaysian stir-fry spices, salty soy sauce, and silky oyster sauce (if using). Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.
