Crispy Malaysian Chicken Wraps
Delicious and easy-to-make wraps filled with crispy Malaysian-style fried chicken and fresh leafy greens.
Ingredients
- β500g chicken breastcut into bite-sized pieces
- βto taste saltyfrom soy sauce or salt
- βto taste crispyfrom fried shallots or crispy fried onions
- β100g leafshredded lettuce or cabbage
- β4-6 windsspring roll wrappers
- βto taste chinesefrom soy sauce or oyster sauce
- β1L oil for fryingvegetable or peanut oil
- βas needed waterfor wrapping the wraps

1. In a large bowl, mix together chicken breast, salty, and crispy.

2. Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.

3. Add the chicken mixture and fry until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

4. In a separate pan, heat a small amount of oil over medium heat.

5. Add the leaf and cook until wilted, about 1-2 minutes.

6. To assemble the wraps, lay a spring roll wrapper on a flat surface.

7. Add a spoonful of the fried chicken mixture in the center of the wrapper.

8. Add a spoonful of the wilted leaf on top of the chicken.

9. Fold the bottom half of the wrapper up over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll up the wrap to form a tight cylinder.

10. Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make 4-6 wraps.
