Middle Eastern-Style Ground Pork Fatteh
A twist on the traditional Middle Eastern dish, this ground pork fatteh combines the flavors of the region with the comfort of a hearty meat pie.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Ground Pork
- β1 loaf Rustic Bread
- β1 teaspoon Middle Eastern Spicesa blend of cumin, coriander, and cinnamon
- β1 medium Onion
- β3 cloves Garlic
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper
- β1/4 cup Parsleychopped

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large skillet, cook the ground pork over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks, until browned and cooked through.

Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.

Stir in the Middle Eastern spices and cook for 1 minute.

Season the pork mixture with salt and black pepper to taste.

Cut the rustic bread into 1-inch cubes and toast in the oven until lightly browned.

In a large bowl, combine the cooked pork mixture, toasted bread, and chopped parsley.
