Classic Beef Burger
A simple yet flavorful burger recipe featuring a juicy beef patty, served with a variety of toppings.
Ingredients
- β500g Ground Beef80/20 lean to fat ratio
- β4 slices Breadfor the buns
- β1 head Lettucefor garnish
- β2 Tomatofor topping
- β2 slices Cheeseoptional
- β1 Onionfor topping
- β2 tbsp Mayonnaisefor topping
- β1 jar Picklesfor topping
- β2 tbsp Ketchupfor topping

1. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

2. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.

3. Season the patties with salt and pepper.

4. Grill the patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 63Β°C (145Β°F).

5. Meanwhile, toast the buns on the grill or in a toaster.

6. Assemble the burgers by spreading mayonnaise on the bottom bun, followed by a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, a cheese slice (if using), a beef patty, a few slices of onion, and finally the top bun.
