Korean-Style Tofu Bites with Yeasty Breading
Crispy tofu bites coated in a yeasty, sweet, and spicy Korean-inspired breading, perfect as a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients

- β1 tsp Yeast
- β1 cup Flour
- β1 tsp Korean chili flakes (gochugaru)
- β2 tsp Rounded sugar
- β1 Egg
- β1 cup Vegetable oilfor frying
- β1/4 cup Jeon (Korean pancake mix)

Cut the tofu into bite-sized pieces.

In a small bowl, whisk together yeast, flour, Korean chili flakes, and rounded sugar.

Dip each tofu piece into the yeast mixture, coating evenly.

Dip the coated tofu pieces into the beaten egg.

Dip the egg-coated tofu pieces into the jeon mix, pressing gently to adhere.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
