Pan-Seared Barramundi with Japanese Tendon Sauce
A flavorful and healthy dish featuring pan-seared barramundi served with a rich Japanese tendon sauce.
Ingredients
- ●4 Barramundi filletsFresh and sustainable
- ●1/4 cup Japanese tendon sauceStore-bought or homemade
- ●2 tbsp Sesame oil
- ●2 tbsp Soy sauce
- ●1 tsp Brown sugar
- ●1-inch piece GingerGrated
- ●2 cloves GarlicMinced
- ●1/4 cup Green onionsSliced
- ●2 tbsp Roasted sesame seeds

1. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.

2. Season the barramundi fillets with salt and pepper.

3. Add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil to the skillet and sear the barramundi for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.

4. Remove the barramundi from the skillet and set aside.

5. In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of sesame oil.

6. Add the grated ginger, minced garlic, and sliced green onions to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute, or until fragrant.

7. Add the Japanese tendon sauce to the skillet and stir to combine.

8. Return the barramundi to the skillet and spoon the tendon sauce over the top.
