Skillet Smoked Chicken
A richly flavored and smoky chicken dish cooked to perfection in a skillet.
Ingredients
- β4 Canadian Smoked Chicken Breasts Boneless, skinless breasts
- β1 cup, shredded Richly Aged Cheddar Cheese
- β1 Skillet
- β2 tbsp Olive Oil
- β1 tsp Garlic Powder
- βto taste Salt and Pepper
- β1/4 cup, chopped Fresh Chives

Preheat the skillet over medium-high heat.

Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Add the olive oil to the preheated skillet and sear the chicken for 5 minutes on each side.

Reduce heat to medium-low and continue cooking for an additional 10-12 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165Β°F.

Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Return the skillet to the heat and add the shredded cheddar cheese.

Stir until the cheese is melted and well combined.
