German Chicken Satay
A twist on traditional German cuisine with the flavors of Malaysian satay, featuring succulent chicken skewers grilled to perfection.
Ingredients
- β500g boneless chicken breast
- β250ml richly flavored peanut sauce
- β10 romantic rosemary sprigs
- β2tsp malaysian satay spicesavailable at most Asian grocery stores
- β20 skewers
- β1tbsp sugar
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper
- βfor brushing vegetable oil
- β1tbsp honey

1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together peanut sauce, satay spices, sugar, salt, and black pepper.

3. Add the chicken breast to the bowl and toss to coat with the marinade.

4. Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

5. Brush the skewers with vegetable oil and season with salt and black pepper.

6. Grill the skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through.

7. Brush the skewers with honey during the last 2 minutes of grilling.
