Thai Chicken Skillet
A spicy and flavorful Thai-inspired dish made with succulent chicken, richly flavored sauce, and American skillet.
Ingredients
- β1 pound chicken breast
- β1 American skillet
- β1/4 cup richly flavored saucestore-bought or homemade
- β2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- β3 cloves garlic
- β1-inch piece ginger
- β1 green chili
- β2 tablespoons brown sugar
- β1 tablespoon fish sauce
- β1 tablespoon soy sauce
Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in the American skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken breast and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, garlic, and ginger. Cook for 1 minute.

Add the green chili and cook for another minute.

Add the richly flavored sauce, brown sugar, fish sauce, and soy sauce to the skillet. Stir to combine.

Return the chicken breast to the skillet and cook until coated with the sauce, about 2-3 minutes.

Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 5-7 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
