Norwegian Spring Rolls
A fusion of Indian and Norwegian flavors, filled with rich and delicious spring rolls. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Ingredients
- β12-15 wrappers Spring Roll Wrappers
- β1 cup, peeled and grated Carrots
- β1 cup, shredded Cabbage
- β1/2 cup, finely chopped Onion
- β1 tsp, grated Ginger
- β1 tsp, minced Garlic
- β2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- β1 tsp Lemon Zest
- βto taste Salt
- β1, beaten Egg
- βfor frying Vegetable Oil
Instructions

Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.

Add the grated carrots and cook until they are tender.

Add the chopped onion and cook until it is translucent.

Add the shredded cabbage and cook until it is wilted.

Add the grated ginger, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Cook for 1 minute.

Add the salt to taste and mix well.

Add the beaten egg and mix well.

Apply a tablespoon of the filling to the center of a spring roll wrapper.

Fold the bottom half over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll up the wrapper to form a tight cylinder.

Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.

Fry the spring rolls until they are golden brown and crispy.
