Pero Grilled Pato with Arroz con Falafel
A twist on traditional Peruvian dish, featuring grilled pato with crunchy arroz con falafel.
Ingredients
- β1/2 cup Pero
- β4-6 pieces crunchy peruvian falafelhomemade or store-bought
- β1 cup cooked arroz con
- β1/2 cup diced, boneless pato
- β2 tbsp olive oil
- βto taste salt
- βto taste pepper
- β1 tsp cumin
- β1 tsp chili powder
- βfor garnish chopped cilantro
Instructions

Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add diced pato and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Add cumin and chili powder, stir to combine.

Add cooked arroz con to the skillet and stir to combine with pato mixture.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Meanwhile, grill falafel over medium heat until crispy and golden brown.

Serve arroz con pato mixture in a bowl, topped with grilled falafel and chopped cilantro.

Drizzle with remaining 1 tbsp of olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
