Syrian Meat Pie

- β1 medium onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β2 cups all-purpose flourfor dough
- β1/2 cup waterfor dough
- β2 tablespoons olive oilfor pie crust
- β1 teaspoon saltfor seasoning
- β1/2 teaspoon black pepperfor seasoning
- β1/2 teaspoon paprikafor seasoning
- β1/4 teaspoon nutmegfor seasoning

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Make the dough by combining flour and water in a bowl. Mix until a ball forms.

Knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth.

Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/8 inch.

In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened.

Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking up with a spoon.
