Irish Lamb Stew
A hearty and comforting stew made with tender lamb and flavorful Irish spices. Perfect for a chilly evening.
Ingredients
- ●1 pound Lamb Shouldercut into 1-inch cubes
- ●1 medium Onionchopped
- ●2 medium Carrotspeeled and chopped
- ●2 large Potatoespeeled and chopped
- ●3 cloves Garlicminced
- ●2 tablespoons All-purpose Flourfor dusting lamb
- ●2 teaspoons Irish Stew Seasoningor to taste
- ●1 cup Red Wineor beef broth
- ●2 cups Wateror beef broth

Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).

Dust the lamb cubes with flour, shaking off excess.

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Brown the lamb on all sides, about 5 minutes. Remove from pot and set aside.

Reduce heat to medium. Add more oil if necessary, then sauté the chopped onion until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Add the chopped carrots and potatoes. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the browned lamb, Irish stew seasoning, red wine, and water to the pot.

Bring to a boil, then cover the pot and transfer to the preheated oven.
