Beef Stew in Oyster Sauce
A hearty and flavorful Chinese beef stew made with oyster sauce, rich beef broth, and tender beef chunks.
Ingredients
- ●1 pound beef stew meatcut into 1-inch cubes
- ●2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- ●2 cups rich beef broth
- ●2 tablespoons polish rye flour
- ●1 teaspoon meat
- ●2 carrots, peeled and sliced stew
- ●2 potatoes, peeled and cubed stew

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add the beef and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Remove the beef from the pot and set aside.

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil to the pot and sauté the sliced carrots and cubed potatoes until they start to soften.

Add the beef broth, oyster sauce, and flour to the pot, whisking to combine.

Return the beef to the pot and bring the mixture to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered, until the beef is tender, about 2 hours.
