Kielbasa Amatriciana Pasta
A classic Italian-inspired pasta dish featuring spicy kielbasa sausage, rich tomatoes, and peppery greens.
Ingredients
- β12 oz (340g) Spaghetti
- β1 lb (450g) Kielbasa sausage
- β1 medium Onion
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β1/4 cup Fresh basil
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
- β1 cup (115g), grated Grana Padano
- β2 tbsp (30ml) Olive oil
- β1 cup (240ml) Canned crushed tomatoes

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add sliced kielbasa sausage and cook, browning on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add crushed tomatoes, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine.

Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to combine with tomato sauce.

Top with grated Grana Padano and fresh basil leaves.
