Grilled Ciabatta Sandwich with Melted Cheese
A simple, yet delicious sandwich recipe featuring rich, melted cheese and crispy ciabatta bread.
Ingredients
- β2 slices ciabattapreferably day-old
- β2 cups, shredded rich, molten cheesesuch as mozzarella or provolone
- β1 sandwichfor inspiration

Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium heat.

Place the ciabatta slices on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until lightly toasted.

While the bread is toasting, place the shredded cheese in a bowl and stir to separate the curds.

Once the bread is ready, place one slice on a flat surface and spoon half of the cheese mixture onto the bread.

Place the second slice of bread on top of the cheese and press down gently.
