Korean-Style Pork Jeon
A crispy and savory Korean-style pancake made with pork sausage and served with a side of spicy sauce. This keto-friendly dish is perfect for a quick and delicious meal.
Ingredients
- β1/2 pound pork sausage casings removed
- β1 cup white rice flour
- β1/2 cup rich milk
- β1/4 teaspoon korean chili flakes
- β4-6 pieces jeon
- β2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- β1/4 cup green onionschopped
- β1 tablespoon sugar
- β1 large egg

In a large bowl, whisk together the white rice flour, rich milk, and egg until smooth.

Add the pork sausage, korean chili flakes, and chopped green onions to the bowl and stir until well combined.

Heat a large non-stick skillet or cast-iron pan over medium-high heat.

Using a 1/4 cup measuring cup, scoop the batter into the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the bottom is golden brown.

Flip the jeon and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the other side is also golden brown.

Repeat with the remaining batter, until all the jeon are cooked.

Serve the jeon hot with a side of spicy sauce, made by heating the unsalted butter and sugar in a small saucepan over low heat, until the sugar has dissolved.
