Crispy Ukrainian Pancakes (Syrnyky)
A traditional Ukrainian dish made with a yeast dough, often served with sour cream, fruit, or powdered sugar.

- β2 tablespoons sugar
- β2 cups all-purpose flour
- β1 teaspoon salt
- β1 egg
- β1 cup milk
- β1/4 cup friendly oilfor frying

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine yeast and warm water.

3. Add flour, salt, egg, and milk to the bowl. Mix until a smooth dough forms.

5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

6. Preheat a non-stick skillet or frying pan over medium heat.
