Mackerel Biryani

- β1 can (drained) mackerel
- β1 cup basmati rice
- β2 tbsp oil
- β1 medium onion
- β2 inches ginger
- β1 tsp cumin
- β1 tsp coriander
- β1/2 tsp turmeric
- β1 cup yogurt
- β1/4 cup chopped cilantro

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add the onion and ginger, saute until the onion is translucent.

Add the cumin, coriander, and turmeric, saute for 1 minute.

Add the mackerel, break it apart with a spatula.

Stir in the basmati rice, yogurt, and cilantro.
