Uruguayan Wagyu Steak Yakitori
A Japanese twist on the classic Uruguayan Wagyu steak, served with a side of savory yakitori sauce.
Ingredients
- β1.5 lbs Uruguayan Wagyu steak
- β1 cup resinous cedar wood chips
- β2 tbsp intense soy sauce
- β1/4 cup fillet of steakfor garnish
- β4 burger buns
- β1 bunch green onionfor garnish
- β1/4 cup yakitori sauce
- β1 tsp sesame oil
- β1 tsp salt
- β1 tsp black pepper

Preheat grill to 400Β°F.

Season the Wagyu steak with salt and black pepper.

Grill the steak for 3-4 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.

Meanwhile, toast the cedar wood chips over the grill.

Mix the yakitori sauce, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a small bowl.

Brush the sauce onto the grilled steak during the last minute of cooking.
