Grilled Steak with Brazilian Peppers
A classic German-inspired dish featuring marinated grilled steak and roasted Brazilian peppers.

- β4-5 brazilian peppers
- β1/4 cup olive oilfor marinating
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- βto taste salt
- βto taste pepper
- β2 tablespoons lemon juice

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.

Place the steak in a large zip-top plastic bag or a shallow dish.

Pour the marinade over the steak, turning to coat.

Let the steak marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Remove the steak from the marinade, letting any excess liquid drip off.

Grill the steak for 4-5 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.

Transfer the steak to a cutting board and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, toss the Brazilian peppers with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet.

Roast the peppers in the oven at 400Β°F (200Β°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until the skin is blistered and charred.

Remove the peppers from the oven and let them cool in a bowl covered with plastic wrap.
