German-Italian Pudding Cake
A unique dessert that combines the richness of German pudding with Italian flair. Perfect for a special occasion.
Ingredients
- β1 package (250g) german pudding mix
- β1/4 cup (60ml) scotchfor soaking the cake
- β3 large eggs
- β1 cup (200g) sugar
- β1 1/2 cups (190g) flour
- β1/2 cup (110g) butter
- β1 tsp vanilla extract
- β1/4 tsp salt

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C). Grease a 9-inch (23cm) springform pan and set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the pudding mix, eggs, sugar, flour, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Add the melted butter to the mixture and whisk until smooth.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.

Transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once the cake is cool, poke holes all over the top with a skewer or fork.

Pour the scotch over the cake, allowing it to soak into the holes.
