Malaysian Satay
A classic Southeast Asian dish made with marinated chicken and grilled to perfection.

Ingredients
- β500g Chicken breastCut into skewer-sized pieces
- β200g Malaysian peanut sauce (store-bought or homemade)For serving
- β2 tbsp Quietly oilFor brushing skewers
- β2 stalks Pungent lemongrassMince and use in marinade
- β2 tbsp Kecap manis (sweet soy sauce)For marinade
- β1 tsp Coriander powderFor marinade
- β1 tsp Cumin powderFor marinade
- β1 tsp SaltFor marinade

1. In a large bowl, whisk together lemongrass, kecap manis, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt.

2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and mix well.

3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

4. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

5. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
