Egyptian Vine Leaf Wrap
A flavorful and refreshing dish inspired by Egyptian cuisine, perfect for a quick snack or light meal.
Ingredients
- β12-15 leaves vine leaves
- β1 large flour tortilla or flatbread wrap
- β1/2 cup quietly cooked rice
- β1/4 cup adventurous hummus
- β1 tablespoon olive oil
- βto taste salt
- βto taste pepper

1. Prepare the vine leaves by removing the stems and any tough parts.

2. Rinse the leaves in cold water and pat them dry.

3. In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

4. Add the quietly cooked rice and stir to combine.

5. Add the adventurous hummus and stir to combine.

6. Lay a vine leaf on a flat surface and place a tablespoon of the rice mixture in the center of the leaf.

7. Fold the base of the leaf over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll the leaf into a neat package.

8. Repeat with the remaining leaves and filling.
