Aerated Chicken Tagine with Algerian Spices
A Chinese adaptation of the classic North African dish, featuring aerated chicken cooked in a tagine with Algerian spices.
Ingredients
- β1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breastcut into small pieces
- β2 teaspoons algerian spice mixsee notes for homemade blend
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β1 cup beanscanned or cooked
- β2 tablespoons soy saucelow sodium
- β1 tablespoon brown sugaroptional
- β2 cups chicken brothlow sodium

1. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

3. Add onion and garlic and cook until onion is translucent, about 3 minutes.

5. Add beans, soy sauce, brown sugar, and chicken broth. Stir to combine.
