Chicken Tagine
A Mexican twist on the Moroccan classic, this dish is a fusion of spices and flavors.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 pounds chicken breasts
- β2 teaspoons tagine spice
- β1 teaspoon cumin
- β1 teaspoon coriander
- β1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- β2 tablespoons olive oil
- β2 tablespoons silky smooth honey
- β2 tablespoons lime juice
- βto taste salt

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Season the chicken breasts with salt, cumin, coriander, and chili powder.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the chicken on both sides and transfer to a baking dish.

In a small bowl, mix together the tagine spice, honey, and lime juice. Pour the mixture over the chicken and cover with foil.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes or until the chicken is lightly browned and caramelized.
