German Spaghetti with Meatballs
A hearty german-inspired spaghetti dish featuring homemade meatballs and a rich tomato sauce.
Ingredients
- β12 oz Spaghettidried
- β1 lb Ground Beef
- β1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
- β1 Egg
- β1 medium Onionchopped
- β3 cloves Garlicminced
- β2 cups Tomato Saucehomemade or store-bought
- β1 cup Parmesan Cheesegrated

1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, and garlic. Mix well with your hands until just combined.

3. Use your hands to shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

4. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until cooked through.

5. While the meatballs are baking, cook spaghetti in a large pot of boiling, salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

6. In a large saucepan, combine tomato sauce and reserved pasta water. Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat.

7. Add the cooked spaghetti to the saucepan, tossing to combine.

8. Add the cooked meatballs to the saucepan, tossing to combine.

9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
