Japanese Satay
A popular Japanese street food, this satay recipe is a fusion of Asian flavors and traditional Japanese ingredients. Serve with steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
Ingredients
- β1 package Satay
- β1 cup Quick fix peanut sauce
- β1/2 cup Malaysian coconut milk
- β10 Dum skewers
- β2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- β1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
- β1/4 cup Green onions
- β1 clove Garlic
- β1-inch piece Ginger
Instructions

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Thread satay onto dum skewers.

Brush satay with vegetable oil and season with salt and pepper.

Grill satay for 2-3 minutes per side, or until slightly charred.

While satay is cooking, combine peanut sauce, coconut milk, and green onions in a small saucepan.

Bring sauce to a simmer over medium heat and cook until slightly thickened.

To serve, place grilled satay on a plate and drizzle with peanut sauce.
