German Potato Fritters
A traditional German side dish made with grated potatoes, onions, and eggs. These fritters are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
Ingredients
- β2 large, grated potato
- β1 medium, finely chopped onion
- β1, lightly beaten egg
- β1/4 cup flour
- β1/2 cup vegetable oil

1. In a large bowl, combine the grated potato, chopped onion, and beaten egg.

2. Add the flour to the bowl and mix until just combined.

3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

4. Using a 1/4 cup measuring cup, scoop the potato mixture into the oil.

5. Flatten the mixture slightly with a spatula and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
