German Crumble Apple Strudel
A classic German pastry filled with apples and topped with a crumbly streusel topping.
Ingredients
- β2 cups Apples, sliced
- β1 package Flaky pastry dough
- β1/2 cup Sugar
- β1 tsp Cinnamon
- β1/2 cup Quick oats
- β1/4 cup Brown sugar
- β1/2 cup Fix butter
- β1 cup Crumbly streusel topping
- βa pinch Pepperfor garnish

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Roll out the flaky pastry dough to a thickness of 1/8 inch.

In a large bowl, mix together the sliced apples, sugar, and cinnamon.

Place the apple mixture onto one half of the pastry dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Fold the other half of the pastry dough over the apple mixture and press the edges to seal.

Roll out the crumbly streusel topping and cut into small pieces.

Sprinkle the streusel topping over the pastry dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

Bake the strudel for 35-40 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the apples are tender.
