Egyptian Beef Sirloin Steak Croute
A flavorful and easy-to-make dish that combines the tenderness of beef sirloin steak with the crunch of Egyptian puffed pastry croute.
Ingredients
- β1 (6 oz) piece Sirloin Steak
- β1 sheet Croute (Egyptian Puffed Pastry)
- β1 tsp Quick Fix Spice Blend
- βto taste Flaky Salt
- β2 tbsp Olive Oil
- β1 clove Garlic
- β1 sheet En Papillote (Parchment Paper)

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Season the sirloin steak with Flaky Salt and Quick Fix Spice Blend.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak for 2-3 minutes per side.

Transfer the steak to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the steak in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.

While the steak is cooking, roll out the Egyptian puffed pastry croute to a large rectangle.

Once the steak is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.

Place the croute on top of the steak and bake for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the croute is golden brown.
