- β1 cup Split Peascooked
- β1/2 cup Yellow Oniondiced
- β1/4 cup Turkish Red Pepperdiced
- β1 tablespoon Kisir Spice Mixavailable at Middle Eastern markets
- β2 tablespoons Pomegranate Molassesoptional
- β1/4 cup Fresh Parsleychopped
- β2 tablespoons Lemon Juicefreshly squeezed
- β2 tablespoons Olive Oilextra virgin

Cook the split peas according to package instructions.

Chop the yellow onion and Turkish red pepper.

In a large bowl, combine the cooked peas, chopped onion, and red pepper.

Add the Kisir Spice Mix and pomegranate molasses (if using) to the bowl.
