Korean-Style Pan-Fried Tofu with Citrusy German Twist
A fusion twist on traditional German cuisine, this dish combines the bold flavors of Korea with the comfort of a hearty skillet meal.
Ingredients
- β1 block firm tofudrained and cut into 1-inch cubes
- β1 tsp korean chili flakesoptional for some heat
- β1 tsp grated gingerfreshly grated
- β2 tbsp citrus juice (orange or lemon)freshly squeezed
- β2 tbsp skillet oilsuch as canola or avocado oil
- β1 medium onionthinly sliced
- β1 medium bell pepperthinly sliced
- β2 cloves garlicminced
- β1 tsp german seasonings (such as paprika, caraway, or marjoram)optional

Heat the skillet oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
