Pan-Seared Fish with Butter and Pasta
A classic German-inspired dish featuring pan-seared fish, served with a side of buttery pasta. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- β4-6 Fish (4-6 fillets)Choose a mild-flavored fish like cod or tilapia
- β8 oz Quick-cooking pastaChoose a German-style pasta like spΓ€tzle or egg noodles
- β2 tbsp Butter
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
Instructions

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Season the fish fillets with salt and pepper.

Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the fish fillets to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

Remove the fish from the skillet and set aside.

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet.

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss with the butter until coated.
